Survived the Night

We survived the night. Most got at least a little rest. The aftershocks continued throughout the night, which made sound sleep difficult. Ann compared it to having labor pains, trying to rest between contractions. We continue to have after shock even this morning.

For those of you that have been here, our skyline has changed. The main building of the flour mill collapsed trapping and injuring many people. Our clinic was is full swing doing what we could. The doctors from the clinic next door (which was damaged and unusable) came and helped out. We had a leadership conference at our conference center at the time of the Earthquake. They immediately went to pray. The balance of the conference was canceled. I took a truck of participants into to town so that they could try and get to their homes. The road to town is intact but is cracked and slightly heaved in a couple of places, fortunately the road crew hasn't gotten that far yet. After return to the compound to pickup the second load they had decided to wait until this morning to make the trip. On my trip in one of the church leaders in the back of the truck was preaching, telling people they needed to repent.

This morning begins the process of cleaning up.

There are hundreds or thousands of people trapped.

We will continue to update as possible.
